Empowering the Next Generation of Military Leaders

At the Charleston Navy League, we’re committed to nurturing young men and women who embody the US Navy’s core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment. We proudly sponsor nationally recognized leadership programs and offer financial support to local Navy JROTC, Coast Guard JROTC, the Citadel ROTC and Naval Sea Cadets. Additionally, we provide annual thousand-dollar scholarships to deserving JROTC cadets.

Championing Active Duty and Veterans

Our mission goes beyond supporting the youth; we actively seek to uplift national sea services personnel, veterans, and their families. In Charleston, this means providing aid to local active-duty US Marines, Sailors, Coast Guard, and US Merchant Marine veterans. Our members have generously donated to support these activities. Celebrating and Honoring Service

As a member of the Charleston Navy League, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in various celebrations and recognition ceremonies throughout the year. Enjoy exclusive access to military installations, ships, and aviation squadrons to stay informed about current sea service activities. We sponsor local USCG and USN birthday and military events, and we take pride in publicly recognizing active-duty and JROTC award ceremonies, as well as active-duty sea service personnel of the year awards.
